Cliff Pester MSCTE (Systems Technical Consultant)
Cliff Pester is a qualified engineer and has been directly involved with the CCTV industry since 1968. For the past twenty-five years he has worked primarily as a CCTV systems designer and project manager.

Cliff has designed numerous CCTV Systems for clients ranging from town centre systems, rail transport systems, university complexes, major retail parks, corporate head offices, and museums, to public/local authorities.

As Systems Technical Consultant with IJA, Cliff has used his considerable experience within the security industry to evaluate, test and work with virtually all the major manufacturers and suppliers of CCTV equipment. He is also widely respected as a leading training instructor on the selection, installation, management and operation of CCTV systems and is an accredited Assessor for the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) on surveillance monitoring; image recording and other CCTV related systems.

Nick Johnson BSc MBA (Security Management Consultant)
As security management consultant, Nick Johnson is responsible for developing IJA’s key services. Nick has extensive experience of advising on major strategic and risk issues at Board level and has utilised this background to develop a successful career in security consultancy.

A former graduate management trainee for a FTSE 250 company, Nick subsequently held key roles in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy for a French multi-national, before gaining a Masters in Business Administration at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).

Since joining IJA, Nick has undertaken influential roles in advising clients on security strategy, formulating security policy and procedures, undertaking risk assessments, and successfully implementing business recovery plans. He has recently developed a number of strategic support initiatives to enable companies to assess the effectiveness of their corporate governance and risk mitigation policies.
