Andrew Sheehan (Security Engineering Consultant)
A former director of one of the UK’s leading security system installation companies, Andrew has over thirty years experience as an alarm and security engineer. He has extensive knowledge of integrated security systems covering alarms, access control, CCTV, central control, monitoring, and alarm and video receiving systems.

At IJA, Andrew is responsible for advising on all aspects of security systems design on behalf of clients in the UK and internationally. This includes conceptual, technical and functional designs, project management and complete commissioning of systems prior to client handover.

As an experienced security engineer, he provides expert opinion and fulfils the function of an accredited expert witness for litigation cases where security systems and equipment are an integral part of the case.

Kay Hudson BA Hons (Communications & Research Manager)
Kay Hudson is responsible for coordinating all communications and information security audits undertaken by IJA. Additionally, as senior researcher for the company, she manages all research projects together with maintaining IJA’s extensive resource and technical library.

She has undertaken a number of major security risk assessments for both government and private sector clients. Projects have included providing security advice and conducting reviews of museums, hospitals, and media centres.

Kay is a regular contributor to security and facilities management publications writing on a wide range of specialist subjects such as electronic counter measures, expert witness procedures, baggage and mail screening, and employee vetting.
